Apply for Funds
Grants from The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation encapsulate the founder's belief that business successes should be shared with society to help those less fortunate but given in a manner to ensure that the money granted achieves a clear social objective.
The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation has six primary focus areas:
Health, Education, Disabled, Children and Youth, Aged, General
We generally do not fund (**Justifiable exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis):
• Individual applying for scholarship/bursary both local and overseas
• Overseas conference and study trips
• Fundraising and operating cost of charity
• Building fund
• Political organisations
• Religious organisations with sole purpose of propagating religion or biasness towards a particular religion
• Arts and culture
• Heritage and sporting events

1) Request for an “Application & Proposal” form by advising the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation:
| The appeal, amount requested or type of assistance you are applying for. |
| Brief description of the beneficiary or beneficiaries and the need situation . |
| The objectives of the Idea/Project should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely (SMART). |
| The outcome/ impact/ benefits (including any multiplier effects) you hope to generate with the donation sum. |
| Name of organisation and contact person we can liaise with. |
| Your fax or email address so that we can send the form to you directly. |
2) Fax or email the completed “Application & Proposal” form.
3) Applicants generally receive an acknowledgement within a week and a response within one to two months, depending on the amount and nature of the request. Applicants may be contacted during the proposal review process for a telephone conference, site visit or presentation. Visits to the Foundation office or approaching staff during the proposal review stage are discouraged.
