Beneficiaries

Prior to setting up the Tan Foundation and another, the Tan Sri Tan Foundation in Malaysia, founder Tan Sri Tan was already donating generously to aid education and various welfare organisations. Together with his wife, they provided much needed help and support to several homes for the aged and hospitals.

Among his many philosophies in life, Tan Sri Tan believed very much in leading a happy and purposeful life. In turn, his wish was to share this happiness with the less fortunate. This became a basis from which the Foundation conducts its activities, seeing to it that Tan Sri Tan's ample gifts of money are wisely allocated to deserving individuals and organisations. The following highlights some of the beneficiaries whom the Foundation has supported.
